Just a simple question:
I downloaded my podcast episodes to my old device. I transferred the whole database (via export function) to my new device. I moved all my downloads to the AntennaPod download folder of the new device (same folder structure, everything).

Now my already downloaded episodes are being shown as downloaded in AntennaPod, but if I want to play them it fails and I have to download them again.

Does AntennaPod not check the folders for already downloaded episodes? Is there an option to check all folders manually for the already downloaded episodes?

No, it doesn’t check the folder.

The only option is to edit the database file to refer to the exact location, because the IDs will be different even with the same folder structure.

Here is what I did: Used the export function of AntennaPod on my old phone “Settings”-\>“Storage”-\>“Import/Export”-\> got to save the file “AntennaPodBackup-2020-12-04.db” on my phone Transferred AntennaPodBackup-2020-12-04.db to my laptop Installed an SQL-browser, eg. from [https://sqlitebrowser.org/](https://sqlitebrowser.org/) (avail…

> Hi, I have been using AntennaPod for more than a year, and only recently discovered I can store the podcasts it downloads on my SD card. I switched the setting to do that, but in the meantime, my main storage is running out of space, filled with downloads from before making the switch. Is there any way to move these to the SD card from within AntennaPod? If I do it manually, will AtennaPod find/recognize them? Thanks in advance for any advice or tips.

I have the same issue. 🙂
