# Casting disconnects during playback

### Expected behaviour

Playing podcasts while casting to Google Home speakers should not randomly disconnect the casting.

### Current behaviour

While playing podcasts and casting to my Google Home speakers, the casting will randomly disconnect after several minutes. I’ve played podcasts from this app this way for over a year without this issue.

About a month ago

### Steps to reproduce

Start playing a podcast

Tap the cast button to start casting

No specific timing as to when the casting stops, but it happens during playback. Not in between episodes or something like that.
