The ARD has changed the feed of (at least one of) their podcasts, and I’d like to update it in AntennaPod without losing my statistics. Is this possible?
Unfortunately not. When they changed the url without adding a proper redirect, they probably also broke the IDs in the feed, so we can no longer reliably know which of the episodes in the old feed matches which in the new feed. We could guess based on title or date but because that will regularly lead to unexpected behavior, AntennaPod doesn’t have the feature to change the url.
It’s pretty annoying to see that public media services in Germany don’t know what they are doing. I already contacted some of them when it happened to me but I just got generic replies (“we forwarded it to the technicians”, etc).
