Is there a way to view the total count of all my subscriptions? Am I missing something? This is a basic feature but I don’t seem to find how to do it other than count the total number in subscriptions page of the app.

Not sure if there is an easy way to see the count of the number of subscriptions. I assume you have upwards of 100+?
One quick way is to export the data in html or opml and count it.
Otherwise you may have to create a Github issue for it and see if the contributors can get to it
I would also like this as a feature.

Yes please! 
It has always bugged me that the ‘Subscriptions’ menu item shows the number of episodes - never saw the logic as the number and the unit of measurement don’t match.
And it’d be interesting to know, indeed.
