# Manuall Skipping to Next Podcast Does Not Auto Play

3.1.2.3 / 3.1.2.0395 (APK Info) Beta
### Android version
17 - Stock, not rooted
### Device model
Pixel 9 Pro
### Expected behaviour
Occasionally, skipping to the next track / podcast should consistently auto play the next tack / podcast.
### Current behaviour
Occasionally, skipping to the next track / podcast moves to the next track but the track does not automatically play. Pressing Pause the Play starts the podcast. When I say it moves to the next track, the podcast image changes and the progress bar goes back to the start and current time goes to 00:00:00
It **might** be happening when there is less than 30 seconds to play. I am using the stock settings for fast Forward time (30s).
I play most everything from the Queue list and there is / was more podcasts to play,.

A few weeks ago.- Last update Oct 5
### Steps to reproduce
For the time being can not reliably reproduce.
- Listen to podcast
- Towards the end, e.g. end credits, trailing ads, etc. Skip \>| to next track (with another podcast in the Queue list)
- Notice the podcast image change and the progress bar get set to 00:00:00 (as expected)
- Loaded podcast does not auto play.
- Pressing the Pause the Play icons starts play as expected
### Crash info
No crash is observed.

I think I found a way to reproduce reliably.
- Listen to podcast, phone locked
- As the end of the podcast arrives, unlock the phone (fingerprint)
- Open / got to AntennaPod, which usually puts me in the Queue queue
- Press skip track / podcast
- The next track is brought and set to 00:00:00 but does not auto play
- Double tap of the Pause / Play button and the expected track is played
I just reproduced the issue 4 times in a row. I don’t know if there are other paths that may lead to the same issue.
I understand that this is a weird workflow and just a force of habit. I don’t always follow the same path.
