AntennaPod is great, I installed it because Google Podcasts wouldn’t work on my new tablet, and it’s way better than GP.

But why did it give me the ‘may not be optimised for your device’ warning when I installed it on my Android tablet? that’s for apps that work best on phones, I thought? why would that be an issue with a podcast app?

I think Google displays that warning when the app page does not have a screenshot for the tablet size you are using (probably 7"?). The app itself should work just fine on tablets.
