# Proposal to tweak the expense policy slightly

Hello,

We’re currently preparing the donation to Weblate. If our expense policy on Open Collective is interpreted strictly, that wouldn’t be allowed:

> **Upstream & Peer contributions**  
> Projects that contribute to an open podcasting ecosystem or an open source Android ecosystem may be given donations from AntennaPod’s funds.

They’re neither contribute to the podcasting ecosystem nor the Android ecosystem. I would therefore propose the following updated text, to be in line with the donation that we’re planning to make (italics added to indicate the diff):

> **Upstream & Peer contributions**  
> Projects that contribute to an open podcasting ecosystem or an open source Android ecosystem _as well as other open source initiatives that our project relies on_ may be given donations from AntennaPod’s funds.
