# Question about archiving entire podcasts

I just have a question about archiving podcasts as opposed to episodes: If I archive a podcast that I have downloaded episodes for, does that mean the episodes will also be physically archived and removed from the Downloads list? I’m afraid to try it, because if that’s not how it works I would lose episodes that I would not be able to retrieve again. So I’d like to be sure about what happens. Thank you.
