Question about refreshing while dragging

Is there a way to disable the refresh by dragging?

Refresh only with the refresh button.

I find myself refreshing quite a few times just while scrolling, it happens on every page.

Is there anything I can do about this please?

Just played with this and it looks like the UI does not distinguish between a tap and swipe and a hold and swipe. Only needs fraction of a second longer to make the distinction.
