As an aspiring developer, I started studying software development back in 2016, working primarily on personal projects designed and developed by myself. When I felt ready to work more collaboratively, I came across AntennaPod while browsing FOSS projects. It appealed to me as a podcast listener so I tried it out then started looking through issues to see if there was anything I felt comfortable working on. I did a couple UI related issues a while back as my first contributions, but now am hoping to contribute more routinely to open-source work as I attempt to become a hirable developer.
