For some specific reason i don’t want to see episode artwork so i disabled “Use episode cover” in settings but it still shows episode artwork in player but mini player doesn’t have this issue. Mini player at the bottom shows the podcast artwork which i want in this case.
Player shouldn’t show the episode artwork once it is disabled in settings.
Settings is for disabling episode cover in list. So you can identity with a constant picture to which podcast ot belongs.
Initially it was also used for player but it was changed because there was no reason (or arguments) to do so that outweighed needing to add an additional settings. (Which would need to be maintained)
@podlistener Would you be willing to share that particular reason that you don’t want the episode cover in the (mini-)player either? We normally don’t add settings without having a compelling use-case, and I think that we shouldn’t implement this without adding/changing the setting because it’d upset users.
