Android auto no indication on played episodes

Expected behaviour:
Android auto should give indication of which episodes have been played. Usually by having played episodes grayed out.

Current behaviour:
Currently, there is no way to differentiate played from unplayed podcast episodes.

First occurred:

It has always been like this but I think it is a bug as it is a standard feature.

Steps to reproduce:
Select a podcast in Android auto and look through the list.

Do other apps display the played state on Android Auto? If yes, how does it look? I am not sure if Android Auto supports changing the text color.
