Android Auto resume playback

Android version: Android 12

Device model: Pixel 3aXL

Expected behaviour: Antennapod to resume playback when phone is connected to Android Auto.

Current behaviour: Playback does not resume. I have to open Antennapod in Android Auto and find the podcast I was listening to even though on the phone it is still in the notification shade.

First occurred: As long as I’ve had Android Auto - a few months

Steps to reproduce:

  1. See above: current behaviour

This seems to be a duplicate. I’m also experiencing the same issue.
