I’d recommend changing this from a Bug Report to a Support Request since you don’t appear to have documented a bug. (If you would like to pursue it as a bug, please provide the requested information such as app version, Android version, when you started seeing this, etc.)
I came here with the same problem. First time using AntennaPod, long time Doggcatcher user. Generally same as has been reported. Every minute or 3 it stops. Originally I was using on bluetooth but it also stops with the phone speaker. I checked the various battery and app settings to allow running in background, etc. When it stops I press the play button and it keeps going for another interval.
One more tidbit is on the car display when it stops the podcast info and progress bar disappear until I press play and they come back.
App version: 3.9.0
Android version: 14

Expected behaviour: play a podcast until I tell it to stop or it ends.
Current behaviour: stops after a minute or so of playing. I didn’t time the intervals to see if it was consistent.
First occurred: (e.g. about x days/weeks ago) Immediately on using the app. new phone, I thought I would try something new.
Steps to reproduce:
Play podcast. (common sense with Dan carlin and darknet diaries in my case)
Press play again after it stops.
repeat
Etc.
Environment: both speaker and bluetooth. downloaded podcasts, I haven’t tried streaming.
