Auto-delete not working well on Android

Expected behaviour:

Expectations for streamed/not downloaded episodes:

• When an episode is marked Played, the episode is deleted from the app and local storage is freed up.
• When an episode is long-pressed, Delete is an option in the menu.
• When swiping on an episode that has Delete as its swiping action, the episode is deleted from the app and local storage is freed up.

Current behaviour:

• Played episodes stay in Inbox or Queue, are greyed out, and have no option to Delete through individual episodes or Multi Select. The app unsustainably grows its storage.
• The long-press menu does not have Delete as an option in Inbox or Queue.
• The swiping occurs but the episode stays in place with no visible changes. Local storage grows.
• There is no manual deletion or automatic deletion regardless of how the episode was marked as played.

First occurred: At least 4 months ago

Steps to reproduce:

1. Subscribe to podcasts
2. Add a few episodes to Inbox and Queue
3. Set the following settings:
   1. Automatic Download OFF
   2. Automatic Deletion
      1. Delete after playing ON
      2. Auto delete from local folders ON
