Auto delete not working

Device model: Pixel 9 Pro

Expected behaviour:

Current behaviour: I can’t get the auto delete to work. I have the autodown set to download 100 podcasts. I have the delete before auto download set to “when not in queue” I have auto delete from local folders set to no (because the wording made it sound like it a podcast was deleted with autodelete I wouldn’t be able to redownload it again later to listen to)

But it doesn’t auto delete podcasts that are downloaded but not in my queue so the autodownload isn’t working.

First occurred: It was working fine on my last phone but when I redownloaded the app in dec when i upgraded thats when it stopped.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. This
  2. Then that
  3. Then this
  4. Etc.

Environment: (Settings you have changed (e.g. Auto Download). “Unusual” devices you use (e.g. Bluetooth headphones). Did you select another media player?)

Enqueue downloaded: yes
new Episode action: nothing
Automatic download: Yes
Episode Limit 100
Download when not charging, no
Automatic deletion
Delte after playing: yes
auto delete from local folders: no
keep favorite episodes:no
delete before auto download "when no in queue
Delete removes from queue: no

That’s the problem. Auto-download only considers episodes in the inbox. That is an unwanted side-effect of the “new episodes action” setting that we plan to solve in the future. Until then, please set it to “add to inbox”
