Following on from post “Subscriptions order - add reverse option” I think it would be very helpful if AP had the option to set specified subscriptions to download episodes from the first episode and then in order (allowing for those marked played etc)… this is useful as many podcasts are best heard in release order (eg historical ones) and with an episode count of 300 it is best to start at the beginning and then have AP automatically download subsequent 1/2/5 etc episodes. Sometimes might be good to also be able to download latest published but mostly not.

I think a small group of folks with good understanding of AntennaPod need to sit together and hash out a solution. The user research has already been done.
