Problem you may be having, or feature you want: When I finish listening to a podcast episode, next one in the queue starts to play automatically (which is what I want). However, often I then hit pause (if I want to finish listening) or actually select another episode in the queue. This leaves the ‘auto played’ podcast episode as started and shows progress of few seconds, which is not very nice (I want to have all unplayed episodes show as ‘untouched’). I know I can then go back to it and manually select “Reset playback position” to make it show as fully ‘untouched’ but that takes effort. It would be awesome to have auto reset playback position when the episode was paused or switched to another one within X-seconds.
Suggested solution: Add new settings “Auto reset playback position” with options to set # of seconds. Here is how it would work: Imagine I turn that on and set it to 30 seconds. If I’d then pause any podcast episode within first 30 seconds OR I’d switch to another episode in the queue within first 30 seconds, it would automatically reset the playback position of the given episode - eliminating having many ‘started’ episodes. If I’d listen for more than 30 seconds, it’d leave the playback position untouched.
