Automatic downloads of specific podcasts aren't working

Hi, the automatic download for that specific podcast doesn’t seem to be working.

App version: 3.12.0-beta3

Android version: 16

Device model: Samsung S25 Ultra

Expected behaviour: The new episode of the podcast is being downloaded

Current behaviour: The new episode of the podcast isn’t downloaded

First occurred: about 1-2 weeks ago

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I’ve been using Antennapod for years. It’s always worked great. Has something changed here, or is it a bug in the beta ( see The Skip Button Doesn't Work - #3 by robertmac )? I’ve always been very satisfied with the service.

Nothing has changed and there is no known bug in the beta around auto-download. The beta rewrites playback, not auto-download. Did you go through the steps mentioned above?

Hi. I changed the default action for new episodes. I never had to do that before. Now I’ll see if it made any difference tomorrow. I’ll let you know here tomorrow.

Everything works just like it used to.

The problem was probably the number of episodes I downloaded.

Despite that, I’m now getting the following error message: I don’t know if that’s important.

Is there a log file somewhere here that I can check if I run into problems?

You cannot change the new episodes action when auto download is enabled. The text below the new episodes action setting tells you what happens
