Automatically mark episodes as listened to based on keywords

App version: 3.11.4 Google Play

Would it be possible to add an option that automatically marks new episodes as listened to based on keywords? (Similar to automatic download based on keywords.)

You want AntennaPod to show that you immediately listen to episodes about anchovies? (Or whatever keywords you select.)

Quite the opposite. Let’s say there’s a podcast called “Seafood” that I subscribed to, offering two episodes every week, one of which is titled “Anchovies weekly” and the other one is called “Other fishes”. Since I am not very much interested in anchovies, I want to skip that weekly episode, I want AP to mark it as “listened” automatically and not to notify me about it. I only want AP to notify me about “Other fishes” every week and to download that episode automatically.

If you want to automatically download you could add “other fishes” as excluded words. Episodes with those words won’t be marked as read but at least they won’t automatically download.

I know how to select episodes by keywords to make them downloaded automatically by AP. But if I’d tell AP to automatically download “Other fishes” and ignore the “Anchovies weekly” episodes, the “Anchovies weekly” episodes would remain marked as unread and be added to the number of unheard episodes. And that is what I would like to change.
