Autoplay cannot be disabled

Device model: Xiaomi 17T Pro

Current behaviour: AntennaPod starts automatically whenever a Bluetooth device connects, including my car and Bluetooth headphones. The application cannot be stopped from the notification or recent-apps screen. The only way to stop it is to open the phone’s settings, find AntennaPod, and force-stop the application.

Pressing the Play button on my headphones should start playback only if AntennaPod is already running; if the application is not running, pressing the button should not launch it.

Expected behavior: The application should:

  1. Allow users to disable automatic startup when a Bluetooth device connects.
  2. Provide an Exit action in the notification area.

First occurred: September 15, 2026

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Restart the phone.

  2. Press the Play button on the headphones or start the car.

  3. AntennaPod starts automatically.

  4. There is no easy way to exit the application.
