Expected behaviour: Normal audio when playing podcasts.
Current behaviour: Podcast audio seems to be randomly interrupted by a beeping sound. The beep is very sharp (almost ultrasound), and no other sound is heard except this beep. The beep comes from the AntennaPod app because when it occurs, the podcast time is still increasing (playing is still on, as if the podcast was playing normally) and the beep stops upon clicking the pause button. In other words, the beep seems to replace the podcast audio. This happens with any podcasts, and is not dependent on particular episodes or time periods in a given episode: when the beep occurs, I come back 10 or 15 seconds before and then the podcast plays normally, even over the period that was previously beeping. I have never experienced such a beeping sound in other apps on my phone.
First occurred: Approximately 2 months ago, or more.
Steps to reproduce:
- Play a podcast.
- Wait until the beep randomly occurs.
