I’m new to AntennaPod, so apologies if this is covered elsewhere.
I have just subscribed to a new Podcast. There are several hundred past epsiodes. How can I delete the oldest ones that I don’t want without having to download them, play them, etc. I would (in effect) just like to select them and delete them.
That can’t be difficult, can it ?
Thanks!

You’re right, it’s not difficult. Just press down one episode, then pick multi-select, then choose to the beginning or end of the list and delete them.
You can’t delete them since they are not downloaded. What you can do is mark them as read using multi select the way Listener mentioned.
You can also on a podcast screen choose to filter so only unread episodes are shown. But filtering and sorting on specific podcast screen is something that has to be done for each podcasts.
Honestly I won’t bother, it doesn’t really matter to have unread episode when going to a specific podcast. New episodes would appear in your inbox and then you can choose how to deal with them.
I assumed something (Header? Synopsis? Date and time of episode?) would be stored on the phone so that sync could recognise that an episode had previously been dealt with, but if nothing is stored for episodes that have not been downloaded then I’m not wasting any space by deleting those “something”s.
The attributes of the episodes are stored on the phone whether or not you do anything with them. If you listen to an episode (or mark it as listened) that is remembered on the phone too.
