I am currently migrating from another podcast app, and I’m slowly getting my backlog of downloaded episodes up to what it was in my other app. One thing that bugged me was that a large number of episode downloads prevented me from refreshing a feed or downloading a podcast or episode image because they all backed up in the same download queue.
My feature request is to have (at least) two priorities of downloads in that queue. Feed downloads and episoe streaming should probably be at the top of the list, followed by images, and episode downloads should be at the bottom. This way, downloading a glut of older episodes will not require you to wait for all of those downloads to complete before being able to search for and subscribe to a new podcast.
If I haven’t made sense, I can try to clarify what I mean. Thanks!
