Downloading and adding to playlist, finding episodes

App version: x.y.z (state whether from Google Play/F-Droid/Custom built APK)

I have several podcasts that I’ve added to my playlist some of which go back many years and I’m trying to listen to them all.

I’m also trying to intersperse them with other podcasts that I’m also trying to catch up on.

In order to find episodes I have not yet heard I spend a considerable amount of time scrolling the episode list and looking for the indicators of played cued not yet downloaded.

Having the ability to jump to next unplayed would be very useful.

As would having the ability to select a range of dates to download and add to the queue.

Several months ago I selected an episode and wanted to add a range of episodes to the queue but the option was that date to either the beginning or end of time. Which put many hundreds of episodes in my playlist which made it hard to work with them.

If I could find the next unplayed quickly and then add the next 30 podcasts or the next 30 days worth of podcasts some feature like that I would find it very beneficial.

Why not simply filtering on unread (and not downloaded) ? You can do it on episodes screen and podcast screen.

I do for podcasts I am catching up on episodes. I also sort from oldest to newest so next episodes to listen are at the top.

Thank you that’s totally awesome I did not note the filtering option it looks to be exactly what I need.

I’ve got to look a little more deeply and see why I have download other items that have not been added to the queue but I’ll dig into that and only ask if I cannot figure out how this came to be.
