This problem occurs with only one of my subscribed podcasts
This retired programmer can’t imagine how anything regarding my oppo phone could affect this problem.
The podcast host’s server sent a broken podcast feed.
Technical reason:
The podcast host changed the ID of an existing episode instead of just updating the episode itself. AntennaPod still refreshed the feed and attempted to repair it.
Original episode:
Title: Slime moulds, soil, Shackleton and snow
ID: Slime moulds, soil, Shackleton and snow - ABC listen
URL: https://abcmedia.akamaized.net/rn/podcast/2021/08/ssw_20210807.mp3
Now the feed contains:
Title: The Science Show - Saturday, August 7
ID: The Science Show - Saturday, August 7 - ABC listen
URL: https://abcmedia.akamaized.net/rn/podcast/2021/08/ssw_20210807.mp3

I get this message with every episode. It was fine on the late Google Podcast, the app and the website.
I speculate that Jon Postel’s advice, to be lenient with what you accept, applies here.
Filling in most of those fields is tedious and error-prone. Much, perhaps all of the information is available to the app.
