Episode always restart from beginning after a stop on a peertube channel

Android version: 15 CalyxOS 6.10.20

Device model: FairPhone 5

Expected behaviour: Ongoing episode should always keep the last position of reading

Current behaviour: When changing position or after a stop, the read restart from beginning, not possible to even move to a specific postion.

First occurred: 2 weeks, linked to add a new source: Blast le souffle de l'info

Steps to reproduce:

  1. start one episode.
  2. Stop
  3. restart later: back at beginning no way to move forward (manually or fast forward).

Environment: no way to move forward (manually or fast forward). But from the start it reads properly. Everything is downloaded. It is from a peertube instance
No special config, all other channels work good…

What is “peertube”? It sounds like that’s the source of the problem, since all other channels are working as expected.

Peertube is a subsitute to things like Youtube.
That’s possible it is responsible.

What seems strange is that it is downloaded so should not Antennapod handle the reading locally then?
It’s why I asked here.

Not technical enough to be able to try a guess on who is misbehaving here…

They say they support Podcast 2.0 and they mention Antennapod, Podverse…
