Episodes get back to start after last Android update

App version: <3.12.0-beta3 (1d8f35402)

Android version: 16

Device model: A15

Expected behaviour: episodes should start at the minutes it was left

Current behaviour: the episode restart from the beginning

First occurred: last Android update

Environment: Same settings

It’s reproducible and keeps happening on every episode I play if it’s on the middle of the episode. If I Listen to a new podcast and automatically go to an episode that’s in the middle it restart from the beginning.

I would describe the problem almost the same way but it seems to me I can start and stop episodes without an issue.

I am finding that if I pause an episode and then play a different episode or instance I’ll interrupt longer episodes with short news items then I lose my position and we go back to the beginning.

This is new behavior for me also possibly also tied to the pixel 16 update.

Looking a little more closely 3.12.0 beta 3 of antenna pod was installed 3 days ago. So I imagine also a possibility.

while I upgrade it pixel 16 2 or 3 weeks ago I believe this issue is more recent for me.

I’ll bring that any suggestions to get prior behavior back.
