Exempt specific podcast from "enqueue downloaded"

If I have a podcast set to automatically download episode or I manually download an episode then I generally want them to be added to the queue, but there are some podcasts where I don’t want this to happen.

Is there a way to exempt a specific podcast from the general “enqueue downloaded” option in the settings?

My main use case for this is if a podcast is related to a television show where I might not have had the chance to watch the latest episode yet and so don’t want to automatically play a podcast with potential spoilers, but it would be nice to have it pre-downloaded so that I can play it whenever I’m ready to listen to it.

If I understand your question, not really. Each podcast has settings, and you can override the default behaviors.

See “New episodes action” in the podcast settings and it’s related “Include in auto downloads” setting.

However, I think you want “Add to inbox” where you can decide to download it later. Or you can auto download the episode, where it will be added to queue and then do a manual action to remove the episode from the queue. Of which later you’ll add it back to the queue after you watch the video about it.

Doable. Kind of complicated though.

Yeah, I figured I could manually remove it. I was just hoping it could be automated.
