Feeds doesn't update properly until resubscribing

Expected behaviour:
Feeds should update content

Current behaviour:
Feeds does not update for things such as episodes that has been removed

First occurred: more than a year

Steps to reproduce:
Episodes i know the creators have removed are still up until I unsubscribe and resubscribe, at what point point they are properly gone

That is done deliberately. Some feeds remove old episodes but you listened to them. If AntennaPod removed them, they would be gone. That’s also how RSS readers work.

Yes, but shouldn’t they be removed from the list if they are no longer in the rss feed?
