Gpodder.net doesn't sync for antennapod (but works with a different, desktop client)

App version: 3.9.0f f-droid

Android version: 14.0 normal, stock rom

Device model: Samsung a52 5g

Expected behaviour: antennapod should sync at least the list of subscriped podcast on gpodder dot net when I push for a “sync now”

Current behaviour: It doesn’t

First occurred: I have noticed such behaviour months ago, then it managed to upload once, and after that never again

Steps to reproduce:

  1. configure standard gpodder.net sync
  2. Push “sync now” or “force first time resync”
  3. go to gpodder.net (or any other gpodder server) and check the devices: the device has been created
  4. check the subscribed podcasts: there are none

Did you read the instructions on our website? You have to mark the devices as synchronized before the first synchronization using the gpodder web interface. See How to synchronize between devices – AntennaPod
