App version: 3.4.1 from Google Play

Expected behaviour: Should work on first press
Current behaviour: Press once, nothing happens (however after a few tests I found waiting 10 to 40 seconds it will start playing) press a second time and I hear a second of audio, press a third time and it continues playing. However, this issue is only present if I leave the phone locked and idle for about 3 minutes. If I try and resume within 3 minutes, it only requires one press of the button to work. It seems AntennaPod is maybe going to deep sleep or something. I have disabled battery optimisations on the app.
First occurred: Since getting this new phone, however I have tried some other podcast/music apps and none of them give me this issue, it’s related to AntennaPod only on this phone.
Steps to reproduce:
- Play and then pause episode with screen off
- Wait 3 minutes or longer
- Press play/pause button on wired headphones
- Note that nothing happens for 10 to 40 seconds, or by pressing play/pause two more times it will resume instantly
