Help with skip silence per podcast setting

i see on 3.4.0 skip silence is now able to be set per podcast.

i am not sure on the procedure to set this. i want my global setting to be 1.85x speed WITH skip silence.

i have a hand full of podcasts i like to listen to at 1.25x WITHOUT skip silence.

i set 1.85 and skip silence in the global settings. i then multi select the podcasts i want in the subscription page and change setting to 1.25 without skip silence checked.

sometimes i notice skip silence is turned back on for these podcasts.

can someone tell me if i am doing the procedure right or if there is a better way to ensure what i want?
