I have podcast many places online. I would like to upload it to antennapod.
I’m not very bright with this please help me with simple steps. Thanks so much!
Podcast:
There is nothing to do. AntennaPod doesn’t host a webserver / repository of podcasts.
It uses the Podcast Index or iTunes when people do a search. It’s also possible when user get directly a podcast rss link to use it to add the podcast.

My next dilemma is:
I have a friend who only has Antenna pod on his tablet and is not able to find my podcast. I can communicate with him via letter and text message.
Should I share the rss link with him via those methods?

You can share your rss feed indeed, if you just want to allow your friend to add it.
