Hi!

I recently downloaded, the app and I’m really liking it compared to other podcast players. But there’s an issue here. It would be great if we could sign in with our antenna pod account. That, for example, I have synced it with my Google account. I know there are some between devices synchronizations that are also open source and available through antenna pod. But I want my account to be synced with my Google account. And having this feature would definitely get the app to the next level.

Please explain what “Google account sync” would look like to you.
I.E.: What are you trying to accomplish?

What do you mean what am I trying to accomplish? Of course being able to sign in with your Google account and being able to sync your activity via it. It would help you a lot if you want to change your phone or use another device without adding multiple accounts. I know there are some options for synchronization across devices, but if I want to use each of those I want, I will have another account—multiple accounts—in every single application. That makes it really hard. But with synchronization using Google, I can easily transform from this device to another device, or even to another phone, without any hardship.

Thank you for the additional information. I was thinking of the discontinued Google Podcasts functionality.

Do those methods require “multiple accounts—in every single application”? (I only use AntennaPod on one device but many people have reported success using a currently-supported synchronization tool.)
