I found how to export favorites, and I have the exported file ready to import, but I don’t see how to import the favorites. The database export didn’t include favorites, and the HTML section doesn’t allow imports.

Favourites? What app was that from? I don’t think AP as it stands supports the concept of Favourites, You could set up a Favourites tag if that is how you want to organise your podcasts.
AntennaPod does support favorite episodes.
HTML exports like favorites are not intended to be re-imported. They are only meant for sharing with friends. The favorites are included in the database export (that export is simply an identical copy of AntennaPod’s entire database). So if you import the full database, they should be there again.
