Importing Database works, but shows episodes as downloaded

Android version: 16

Device model: Pixel 10 Pro

Expected behaviour: When importing a database from another device, Antennapod assumes that the episode file is already downloaded. When I hit play, it gives me an error saying “File not found”. Based on the “Backup your episodes” article, I would expect episodes to show as not downloaded and offer the ability to download each episode.

Current behaviour: After database is imported, episodes in my queue have a “Play Button” verses a download button. The only way to download the episode is to go to each episode one by one, hit play, get the “File not found” error, which then presents the option to download the episode.

EDIT: It looks like I can multi-select all the episodes and select the “Delete” option and then multi-select the episodes again and then download. This is a good work-around.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Export a database on Device A
  2. Send the database to Device B and then Import
  3. Import is successful
  4. Go to queue and attempt to play any episode

Environment: New phone

Crash info: no crash
