incorrect series poster for podcast being played

App version: 3.4.1 (from Google Play)

Android version: 12

Device model: Galaxy S10 phone connected to a Honda CRV 2020 Android Auto.

Expected behaviour: When playing a podcast, the poster should match the podcast being played.

Current behaviour: When playing an episode of “Stuff You Should Know”, the “Dateline” poster was displayed. The poster changed to the “Stuff You Should Know” poster when I hit fast forward during a commercial.

First occurred: July 30 2024

Steps to reproduce:

1. I finished a podcast that I had already started (A Stuff You Should Know episode).
2. The episode finished and Antenna Pod started a new episode of Stuff You Should Know.
3. The poster on display was Dateline.
4. I pressed fast forward about 20 minutes later and the poster immediately changed to the Stuff You Should Know poster.

Environment: (Settings you have changed (e.g. Auto Download). “Unusual” devices you use (e.g. Bluetooth headphones). Did you select another media player?)
Nothing different today, when compared to my normal commute, except that I did use Antenna Pod on my phone without my car over the weekend.

Today, it occured again. I was listening to Stuff You Should Know. That podcast ended and a Kubernetes podcast started automatically, but the poster that was displayed was Math Lounge. I made a phone call, and when the call ended, the poster on display was Kubernetes Podcast from Google (the correct one.)
