Feature description:
Currently, AntennaPod limits the maximum playback speed to 4.0x. I would like to request raising this limit significantly, ideally up to 10.0x.
Why is this feature needed?
For certain types of content (such as skimming through high-density information, fast-paced educational material, or listening to text-to-speech generated podcasts), the current 4.0x limit is too slow for my workflow. Being able to push the speed further would help power-users process long audio tracks much faster.
Suggested solution:
Extend the slider or numerical input for the playback speed in the settings so that users can manually select a speed up to 10.0x, even if it requires a “hidden” or developer option to prevent accidental selection by casual listeners.
