Is there no option in this app to just listen to audio?

And if not, could someone please explain the logic behind developing an application for playing audio that doesn’t give users an audio-only option?

I was really excited about this app but it seems more like Youtube than a podcast player!

App version: x.y.z (state whether from Google Play/F-Droid/Custom built APK)

Android version: 5.x (Please mention if you are using a custom rom!)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. This
  2. Then that
  3. Then this
  4. Etc.

Environment: (Settings you have changed (e.g. Auto Download). “Unusual” devices you use (e.g. Bluetooth headphones). Did you select another media player?)

If you subscribe to an audio podcast, you get audio. If you subscribe to a video podcast, you get video. On the video player there is a button to switch to audio only.
