Jump to end in queue

App version:
3.8.0f

Problem you may be having, or feature you want:
My queue is very long at the moment. New episodes come in at the end. Some episodes of it I want to hear first so I move it to the start. To play the sorted first episode I jump to the start; that’s not the problem. But to reach the end, to the new episodes, I have to scroll through the whole list.

Suggested solution:
I suggest a button for jumping to the end.

Screenshots / Drawings / Technical details:

You can drag the scroll bar down to the end

I don’t use the queue in that way. I only build a queue with the handful of episodes that I intend to listen to during the upcoming listening session such as for a walk or a car journey etc. I start off by looking a the episode list sorted so that the most recently dropped episodes are at the top of the screen. I may then pad out the queue from the backlogs of long-running podcasts that I am gradually working my way through.

Using the queue as a long, long list of everything I may want to listen to at some point seems peculiar when it is easier to organise your podcasts using tags etc.

Why is your queue so long? It sounds like that may be the issue, rather than the lack of a button to go to the end.

If you really do want an overflowing queue for some reason, you may find it’s easier to listen from near the bottom (where the fresher episodes are) rather than listening from the top.
