Lower age restriction (12y)

Hi,

Currently, AntennaPod is restricted to minimum 12y. Would it be possible to lower it to e.g. 6y or even 3y?

I haven’t checked it that involves any paperwork on your end or if that is even impossible as you cannot control what content the user is consuming.

What is your thought on this?

I’m happy to do research and come up with a more concrete plan if you think this is worth to improve.

Lowering the age restriction on Google Play is not possible due to the fact that we cannot have psychologists check the content of every single podcast episode.

If you buy a DVD that is 12+ and decide to show it to your 10 year old child, nobody will stop you. So why does the restriction on Google Play make a difference for you?
