Making the app more user friendly for new adopters

I’ve started using the app today (albeit my 2nd try) because my current podcast app of choice is currently broken after an ‘up-grade’.

2 Suggestions:

1] Please consider making the landing page a user choice.

2] Add the ability to ‘Multiple Select’ of podcasts so that a user can select ‘All Previous’. I for one, have added multiple podcasts with episodes in the 100’s. I would like to be able to mark many of these as ‘Played’, without having to individually mark the previous, say, 250 of them as ‘Selected’ using the current ‘Multiple Select’ functionality, to then mark the bunch as ‘Played’.

With both of these requests, small changes will mean a lot for me users migrating to this app, which other than these issues is pretty good.

Thanks for your time, I hope you agree with my rational and you consider making this a reasonably high development priority.

That already is a user choice, see settings → user interface → default page

This already is possible using long-press → multi-select and then again long-press → select all below.

I feel your pain. I came to AntennaPod when Google Podcasts went away last year. The good news is that I found nearly everything here that I’d liked about Google Podcasts – just not necessarily in the places I was used to. As @ByteHamster explains, both of your suggestions are already here.
