hallo, recently appeared many new unclear texts again
many such cases i can translate just way “maybe will see if it fits, when that nonsense translation will randomly appear in context in my app weeks later”
echo_hours_podcasts echo_queue_hours_waiting
hours of episodes
from %1$d podcast
why hours is not in one-two-many style?
echo_queue_hours_clean echo_queue_hours_normal echo_queue_hours_much
until 2%2$d starts
starts who? he? she? it?
echo_hoarder_subtitle_medium
Check. No hoarding here.
what do you mean? is there any problem? what should be solution?
echo_hoarder_subtitle_clean
Clean!
what do you mean? user should clean someone? or something? or something is already clean? was it done just now?
echo_thanks_we_are_glad_old
You played your first episode with us in %1$s.
in who? in bed?
These strings are all part of Echo, AntennaPod’s end of year summary. It would really help you to see how the relevant screens look like before attempting to localise the strings. To do that, you could manually change the date on your phone, e.g. to 31 December.
NB: %1$d
and similar are placeholders for quantities or years, so you just need to make sure they appear in the correct position in your localised strings.

I added screenshots to Weblate with previews of the Echo screens
thanks, i see it under echo_listened_after_time
what is
Typically, you completed an episode %1$s after it was released.
BUT for it you need complete also
1 day 1 hour
(see image there)
hour(s) i found only under
time_hours_quantified
where is (slovak) basic translation for hour(s)
but it is translation for ‘(what?) hour’ hodina,
not ‘(of what?) hour’ hodinu - as it is in this case
echo_queue_hours_clean
That’s about %1$s each day until %2$d starts.
is sometimes: that IS about 1 minute
and sometimes: that ARE about 2 minutes
echo_hoarder_subtitle_medium
i undersdood that Check! means Checked!
echo_hoarder_subtitle_clean
is missing image
echo_thanks_we_are_glad_old
smells with problem of (at image) inserted
in September 2019
from where it comes from?
it needs not-basic (in) septembri 2019 (instead of simple (that) september 2019)
plus in case of February it is ‘vo februári’, not ‘v %’ as it is fixed in echo_thanks_we_are_glad_old now
(problem of echo_hours_podcasts echo_queue_hours_waiting stays as was originally described)
