Hi, thank you for Antennapod, I super appreciate that a non-corporate podcast player exists. Question. New episodes of two very big podcasts: Alexander Mercouris’ show, and Alex Christoforou’s show, are no longer loading in Antennapod. These creators are putting out new episodes (I can see them on YouTube) but they don’t come up on Antennapod. Why is this happening? I don’t want to blame Antennapod for censoring- that doesn’t make sense if it’s non-corporate. But these creators have been doing podcasts for years- why would they suddenly not know or forget to upload episodes? Can you give me any insight to what may be happening here? I don’t know how the podcast world works. Thanks again for all you do.
YouTube is of course a completely different platform and media is uploaded to it in a completely different way than podcast platforms. If you’re continuing to receive episodes from other podcasts but not receiving those two in AntennaPod, I’d reach out to the folks who produce them. I’ve seen that kind of thing happen on other podcasts when the “upload person” for whatever reason has stopped doing that, but eventually someone recognizes the issue and a bunch of episodes appear in AntennaPod all at once.
P.S.: AntennaPod lets you decide what you want to listen to. There is no censoring.
