3.5 update, on the beta stream. Android 8.1 I think.
It’s more a turquoise than blue color, the antenna is smaller and not centered, and it’s different than the one here on this webpage/forum and from the one on google play. And there’s nothing about a logo change in the release notes.
Ah, and, apparently, it’s different in the apps drawer vs. The home screen too. And, when long held it has no uninstall option.
And, for the record, I haven’t downloaded this from anywhere other than google play and let it update itself.
Final ETA: So, I did a restart and it now seems to be the same as usual logo. But, it would still be good to know if this happened to others/what happened. Differing logos is one of my red flags for malware issues (not saying that’s what this was). Just makes my tech spidey sense tingle when something like that is off.
