Is anyone having trouble with the inbox?? My inbox is empty, and even after I refresh my pods the new episode are not showing up in the inbox… is there a setting I’m not seeing to make this happen???
Check the “New episodes action” setting in the Downloads menu. The default setting is “Add to inbox” but yours may be set differently.
As another new user I also find the inbox behaviour weird. Another thread suggests the inbox is where new episodes go while “you decide what to do with them” and therefore if you are deciding to automatically download them then they’re no longer in the inbox. But that’s bizarre logic. A downloaded episode is still new and therefore if my settings are for new episodes to go to the inbox, whether or not they are downloaded is irrelevant. If I wanted them in the queue that’s what I’d set in settings.
Not everyone (myself included) likes a Queue as an organising principle for podcasts. I never use one. My preference is to see all new episodes available to me (auto downloaded) and pick one to listen to ad hoc. It seemed logical to me that the inbox could be used for this.
Just sharing my initial impressions.
Yup, me too, I’m confused by the queue and inbox.
Should I think of the queue like a play list? And inbox like and email inbox, everything new goes in there until I decide to something to it?
For me, I like my podcast come in, get downloaded at the same time, as they are published, in date order. (Either automatically ever 12 hours or when I refresh) Then I play or delete the podcast as I see fit, nothing more.
Right now I got podcast in the queue and inbox some downloaded some not and there’s no way to move the queued ones into the inbox to to have them all in the same place. I’ve checked twice now and have set it to auto download and move to the queue. Yet they are still listed in the inbox as not downloaded, even after refresh and restart.
Somewhat a side note it would be good to have a delete button in the queue on the episodes that aren’t downloaded, instead of just remove from queue. I have to download to delete.

After some more faffing in the settings I now managed to get podcasts to go directly into the queue and start downloading.
But I’ve now for the Episodes list, is that a list of everything of all podcasts?
Managed to set the swipe action too but can’t always to get it do delete when shipping, I see the bin going to bright red and let go, sometimes it does delete.
