Old podcast stays in Android 11 media control after playback is complete

App version: 2.0.0 from Google play store

Android version: 11

Device model: Pixel 3

Expected behaviour: after playback of an episode, media playback control does not persist in notification tray, or gives way to close

Current behaviour: podcast episodes remain in the new Android 11 media controls, even after playback is done, and there is no way close controls

First occurred: after upgrade to Android 11 which has the new media controls. Note that I did a full device wipe and reset after upgrade so this should be on a fresh device

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Play podcast
  2. Podcast finishes
  3. Pull down media controls and see that the podcast is still listed, with no way to close controls

A post was split to a new topic: Player notification can not be swiped away

Exact same issue here. I have six AntennaPod notifications stacked up right now. The only way I’ve found to clear them is rebooting my phone.

Similar issue here. I can click on play and the podcast will disappear from the list. Otherwise it will persist after playback has finished.
