I am new to this app. I have a few podcasts which I subscribe to where I pay up for a premium version however only the abbreviated free version of the podcast reflects in my queue. Is there a workaround to have the paid podcast version reflect in those cases where I have paid for that enhanced podcast?
How did you add the paid podcast? Sounds like you are still only subscribed to the free version
I don’t recall the exact steps but I recently switched over from an iPhone to an android. I had the paid versions reflecting in my iPhone podcast app but not in this one.
You have to find out how you paid for them and how to get the authentication details for them. Just by adding them using the search function, AntennaPod cannot detect that you paid for them using a different app on a different phone
One tip @Vince_Bones: you’ll either have a custom URL (in which case you need to add it as a new podcast or update the URL of your existing podcast), or you’ll have a username and password which you can enter in the podcast’s settings.
For future reference: now that you’re using AntennaPod it will be easy to migrate to your next phone. Just export the AntennaPod database on the old phone and import it on the new phone. It remembers all of your subscriptions, including private feeds like the paid ones you’re talking about.
