Play/Download/Mark as played/Add to queue buttons in notification.
Hello, is there the possibility to have those buttons present when the app notifies of a new episode? Being able to toggle any/all buttons in settings would be preferable.
Maybe it’s already in the app and I don’t see it?
Other podcast apps have this feature and I’d prefer to not have to open the feed to initiate any of those functions.
I also wonder why synchronization seems so clunky to me. I’d prefer to have it handled like pocketcasts does. I just log in after a wipe and it fetches all my info.
No insult intended, I prefer antennapod in so many ways.
Thank you.
Edit to add that I’d like subscription title and episode titles in the notifications as well. I’ve seen this has been posted about and there are some that would prefer this not to be the case so it should be toggle-able.
Another edit: I’m uploading a screenshot. It shows that I’m listening to antennapod but still have pocketcasts installed. Pocketcasts is notifying me that fresh air has an episode, it lists a lot of info and has play, play next (queue) or download buttons. I want that! I’m currently not using pocketcasts because the skip button doesn’t work with the new Galaxy watch 7 and antennapod thankfully does.
One more edit: I’m replacing the screenshot with another one that shows both the notification from antennapod and pocketcasts for the same podcast. I hope you will agree that the one from pocketcasts is much more useful. It includes info about the latest episode along with action buttons.
